The fertilizers and chemicals major GUJARAT NARMADA VALLEY FERTILIZERS CO. LTD. has announced results for the Financial Year ended 31st March, 2008.
 
Announcing the highlights of results at Ahmedabad on 20th May, 2008, Smt Sudha Anchalia, Chairperson and Managing Director of the Company, highlighted achievements viz. highest turnover, PBT, PAT and EPS for the year:

• Net sales turnover of Rs. 3,433.91 Crores (Rs. 2,739.27 Crores in 2006-07) (growth of 25% as compared to 12% on consolidated basis last year). PBT of Rs. 576.21 Crores (Rs. 489.39 Crores for 2006-07) (growth of 18% as compared to (-) 1% on consolidated basis last year). PAT of Rs. 372.88 Crores (Rs. 326.47 Crores for 2006-07) (growth of 14% as compared to Nil growth on consolidated basis last year). Earning Per Shares of Rs. 23.99 (Rs. 21.01 for 2006-07) (14% up).
• The Board of Directors has recommended dividend @ Rs. 4.25 per share (i.e. 42.50%), which was same in the previous year.
